This is what I do when I'm bored. Thanks to Mel and her quiz before this. Keith, I'm expecting you to do this so you don't have to buy me dinner any longer yeah? :P And to anyone else who's interested, even if you don't know me very well. You will after this, I guess.

Back to my assignments. Ta...

The past two weeks summed up in a paragraph...

Essay on Neo-Confucianism in Korea, presentation the very next week, chapter summary on Interracial Friendships, interviewing Mia Palencia and Paula Malai Ali all on the same day, staying awake for a gruelling 38 hours straight with the most part spent on editing our documentary, Ying's puppy got hit by a car and died obviously, learning that my dad has given up smoking and drinking, and finally, retail therapy with Mel at the end of an extremely busy week.

I should be catching up on my sleep but as usual, it doesn't come easily. With all the assignments being dealt with I figured I could have a good night's sleep tonight but unfortunately, something had to happen so I'm here blogging and letting you guys know I'm still alive. Also, I'm having a constant battle with my inner demons and considering alot of things right now so bear with me for a bit.

Won't be blogging till I've got everything settled and finalized but who knows? This might actually be the very last post. I'm actually thinking of moving on to a new site but don't worry I'll inform those that matter if and when that happens. This site has served its purpose and I just don't feel comfortable showing the vulnerable side of me anymore. There're so many things going on in my life now that I'm just very hesitant to let it all out like I used to. Friends that I keep in touch with via this blog are mostly back in KL and to those that are still away, don't worry. This won't be the last of me.

And to conclude, a picture of my group members and I with Paula Malai Ali after the interview. We actually interviewed her while she was getting her hair done but she still managed to concentrate on the questions we were firing at her. She's really such a remarkable woman. And Mia Palencia's a sweetheart. We actually took a picture with her as well but somehow it didn't appear in the camera.

This guy scared the daylights out of me just now. I was alone, as usual, walking towards my car when I sensed someone following me. I didn't dare turn my head to look neither did I dare run so I quickly took out my keys so I could at least be prepared to poke him in the eye in the event that he did grab me. Only when I unlocked my car did I notice him, and he was fast approaching. I nearly screamed but I controlled myself and locked the doors once I got into the car. And the idiot had the nerve to come right up to my car and place his face right by my window. Of course in his hand was a watch which he was banging on the window with trying to convince me to at least take a look. I drove off as fast as I could.

This is the second time I had such an encounter. The first time was in Ikea's parking lot and I had just placed my purchases in the boot. Thank God there were people nearby that time so he walked away after I declined. This afternoon, I was all alone and no one was entering or leaving the parking lot. And I felt violated somehow but I couldn't do anything about it.

All precautions had already been taken and it was just a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one he approached today in that parking lot so a word of advice, girls. Be extra cautious of your surroundings at all times.

Thanks to a certain someone, I now have wireless access at home. That only means I'll have less human contact since I'm now holed up in my room. I hardly see my brother or my cousin anyway since they're both constantly out having a social life but that's beside the point.

I can't believe I'm so dependant on the Internet!

I need a break from this.

Tiesto spinning for a full 5 hours is worth my RM65 but I was pretty disappointed with the whole setup last night. There was the usual fireworks display and some dragon dance troupe doing God knows what on stage but I just felt very unsatisfied. I guess I just expected more after all that hype in the media.

Nevertheless, it was a good night out. Adeline and I were very pleased when this hot guy suddenly appeared in front of us and started doing his thing. I couldn't help but stare at him the entire time, he was that gorgeous. Fortunately for us, we got another glimpse of him as he was at the lok-lok stall after the event ended. Ok, very useless information, I know. :) Pictures then!

the crowd & Tiesto in the distance

we're getting there

the closest shot we could get

worthy company definitely

last shot of the night

Sad to admit but I think last night's rave will be the last one I'll be attending as age is slowly but surely creeping up on me. *sniff*

It's been a taxing week but there shall be no more stress over that presentation or that damn quiz on Monday. Worrying shall come while nursing a hangover tomorrow. Tonight, it's all about fun and games. Tiesto, here I come!!!

Excerpts from The Star online...

"It's the hottest ride in town. You can now get the chance to experience what an astronaut feels when he is shot into space; with KL Tower's newest attraction, the “G Force X.”

For RM60, you can try the “reverse bungy” where you will be strapped into a capsule attached to cables and then catapulted into the sky.

When the capsule is shot into the air, it travels up to 120kph in two seconds and a person can experience five times the force of gravity."

Read more here.

Since there was no time to try it out in Singapore, I'm definitely not missing out on it this time round. I've already got one person who's as excited albeit slightly hesitant about the whole thing as I am but it'd be fun if we all got scared in a group. Any takers?

Keith and Mel knows me as the type of person who'd tend to cancel out on them at the very last minute. So in trying to prove Keith wrong, I didn't back out after deciding that we'd be spending Sunday morning here. My arm is aching like a bitch now but the adrenaline I felt when climbing is definitely worth the pain now.

Mummy left for LA yesterday as well. Don't know when she'll be back again as she'll begin the process of applying for her PR so she won't be able to leave the country till it's approved. We hardly saw her this trip back home, as usual, but it's ok as I'll be there soon enough. *fingers crossed*

And so, another week begins...
