Not yet stressed
Assignments and more assignments. I should feel stressed out or something but I don't and that's bad. I've got 2 due next week and I've yet to actually sit down and think about what I'm going to do. Call it laziness, call it procrastination, call it whatever but somehow I work so much better under pressure hence leaving it till the very last minute. Not a good idea but that's just me.
This past week and before has seen Velene and I driving around Brickfields and Seputeh area so that she could familiarise herself with the roads. She's gonna be doing her CLP at Brickfields College so she had to go look at the apartments in that area to rent. On the first day of apartment hunting, I made the mistake of following the signboard..and we ended up in the middle of a Chinese cemetary. See what a law abiding citizen like me does..follow signboards..and what happens..instead of the said Visitor's Parking, it leads us to a cemetary instead. And we couldn't make a U-turn because it was a very very narrow road so further in we went. Laughing ourselves silly and looking out for unwanted beings, I finally managed a U-turn. She ended up renting that very same apartment with the cemetary right next to it. So Velene, I won't be making any night visits to your place alone anytime soon alright? Not that I'm superstitious or anything like that, just that it's a very secluded and dark road and it's not safe for a girl to drive all by her lonesome at night. Right? Right?
Ok then..I'm tired and if I don't stop now I'll go on and on. Good night!
