After visiting all my relatives on the first day of Chinese New Year, I headed to Esmond's aunt's place at night for some gambling and that was when Kit called asking us to head down to S'pore for a few days. After promising them we'd go since last year, we decided it was now or never.

We arrived about 8ish and headed to Holland Village for dinner.

Kit then announced that they were taking us to Zouk because there was a guest DJ spinning. She said she didn't know who the DJ was that night but at about 10, Leon had calls coming in that there was already a long queue outside Zouk so we hurriedly rushed home to change. The amount of people that greeted us was scary. I've never seen Zouk KL or any club in KL that swarmed with people ever. So we waited and waited somemore and after an hour, I asked Leon whether he knew who was spinning. He checked the SMS he received from his friend and promptly told me, "It's someone from Germany called PVD." I knew there and then we weren't going to make it in and sure enough, they announced that tickets had been sold out. (It's Paul van Dyk, by the way, but no worries because he'll be at Zouk KL on Friday)!!!

People weren't leaving so we decided to head over to Ministry of Sound but everyone who couldn't get into Zouk had the same idea as us so we ended up at Attica instead. We had about 2 jugs each of Vodka Lime and Bourbon Coke and a few bottles of beer and the night turned out very nicely in the end.

The next day, we woke up to 4kgs worth of steaming hot crabs just waiting to be devoured, prepared by Leon's mum. Because we had such a heavy lunch, what else could we do except walk it off at Orchard. Kit then suggested going for dessert at Coffee Club and recommended the Mud Pie which was heavenly. After having dinner at Marche we then spent our last night chilling out at this really cool place called Balcony, located just outside Heeren. The upstairs has a jacuzzi in the middle of the room and according to Kit, she's seen bikini-clad girls sipping away on their drinks while in the jacuzzi. The seats downstairs are like swings, the ambience very laid-back. I like.

On our final day in S'pore, Leon took us to The Altivo Bar. It's a romantic place situated on top of Mt. Faber where we shared a fantastic view of the harbour. I'd be really pleased if I was brought there on a first date. Hehe.
