We ended up getting my dad a Gucci namecard holder to match the wallet A.Serena bought him. Because it was the last piece left, they gave a 5% discount. I really dislike walking into all these branded shops because of the look of disdain on most of the sales staff's faces, like as if I wouldn't be able to afford something from Gucci just because I was in a tee and wearing flip-flops.
It's so different in Singapore where they are polite and helpful even after you tell them you're just browsing. For example, on my recent trip across the border, we went into LV and this gorgeous thing caught my eye. The guy was so helpful and patient with me and Kit eventhough I was holding on to it and gently caressing it for a good 10 minutes. It costs about SGD1800 or somewhere around there, if I remember correctly, and I was so tempted to buy it but I knew my dad would just kill me if I signed for it so I had no choice but to place it back on the shelf.

This shall be my next splurge when the time comes. Pretty, isn't it?
